Large Austrian automotive price 2024: Dacia, Škoda and Hyundai Siegen

The large Austrian automotive price, organized by the ARBÖ, has now been awarded for the 41st time. The event took place in the renowned “Fehr Oldtimer Museum” in Wiener Neustadt, where the winning vehicles by Peter Rezar, the President of the ARBÖ, and Gerald Kumnig, the Secretary General, were ceremoniously awarded. The choice comprises three categories: start, medium and premium, in which a total of 42 vehicles on the votes of the jury and readers: inside the ARBÖ club journal.

In the "Start" category, which was occupied by only four vehicles this year, the Dacia Duster was elected. The Citroën ë-C3/C3 took second place, followed by Suzuki Swift in third place. This small number of vehicles in the category shows a growing trend that car manufacturers withdraw from the small car segment and offer fewer models in the lower price segments.

The winners of the different categories

The "Medium" category was particularly exciting this year because 27 vehicles were available. Here the Škoda Kodiaq was able to convince the jury and took first place, while the VW Passat won second place. Third place was the new superb , also a model from ŠKODA.

For the "Premium" category, eleven vehicles competed against each other, of which the Hyundai Santa Fe secured the clear victory. The Audi Q6 e-tron , followed by Mercedes CLE , landed in second place. These results show that the automobile manufacturers are still innovative and offer interesting models that are very popular with buyers.

Gerald Kumnig emphasized the variety of models and drive options that were available this year. He explained that the automotive price not only reflects the current trends, but also the commitment of the ARBÖ to offer the automotive industry a platform and to take into account the demand from consumers.
