Pre -Christmas festivities in Groß Siegharts: Advent in the castle

In Bandlkramerstadt Groß Siegharts, a festive weekend is imminent. On December 7th and 8th, from 1 p.m., the Advent market opens its doors. Numerous exhibitors are gathered here to create a pre -Christmas atmosphere.

The event takes place in and around the castle and comprises 40 different stands that are distributed in the city hall, on the Schlossplatz and Anton Koczur-Platz. This is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends and visitors to immerse yourself in the festive mood.

Versatile program for the whole family

The program offers a variety of activities for young and old. On both days there will be castle tours at 2 p.m. that offer insights into the history and architecture of the impressive building. In the meantime, the carpet embroidery in the knight's hall will open its doors and thus bring the art closer to the visitors of this craft.

A highlight for the children is a visit to the Christ child, which will be on the site from 3 p.m. It will receive letters and thus reinforce the anticipation for Christmas. The music will also not be neglected on both days: On Saturday at 3 p.m., the "Musikfüchse" will give a concert in the boardroom of the castle, followed by a Christmas song contribution from GMTV Groß Siegharts at 4 p.m. in the arcades at the city hall.

On Sunday, visitors can then look forward to the Groß Siegharts city chapel, which spread Christmas melodies from 4 p.m. and thus further heated up the festive atmosphere. All of this promises to become an unforgettable Advent weekend for the entire family in Groß Siegharts.
