New rural youth year in Waidhofen: Board elections and outlook 2024

The general assembly of the Landjugend district of Waidhofen recently took place in the event hall of the Raiffeisenbank Waidhofen. This meeting was an important moment to set the course for the new rural youth year and to fill central management positions.

The event attracted numerous members and guests of honor. The incumbent chairman Florian Brunner welcomed those present, including Federal Councilor Viktoria Hutter, local mayor, local farmer Ulrike Wurz, Dechant Josef Rennhofer as well as representatives of the Chamber of Agriculture and Raiffeisenbank Lower Austria. The state manager Sabine Pfeisinger and the state advisory board Alexandra Haidl were also present.

The highlight of the meeting was definitely the choice of the new district board. Under the supervision of state director Sabine Pfeisinger, the members present emitted their votes. The election result brought both continuity and fresh wind. Florian Brunner remains chairman and is supported by Reinhard Habisohn as a deputy. The choice of Anja Wurz as the district manager and Laura Exl as her deputy shows that new faces are also available on the board. Marion Bartl was elected treasurer, supported by Angelika Breuer, while Laura Danzinger acts as secretary. Cash examiner Florian Kozar and Stephan Hauer were also confirmed in their offices.
