In a speed competition, the participants, especially the athletes of the local group, were able to achieve remarkable success. The event took place in Gänserndorf and ended with an impressive medal mirror of four gold, seven silver and two bronze awards. It should be emphasized that for the first time in the history of Austrian competitions the 100-jump mark was exceeded in a season of 30 seconds.

The challenges consisted of various speed disciplines, including single and team competitions such as the "Single Rope Speed Sprint" and the "Double Dutch Speed Relay". These exciting formats not only call for skill, but also the endurance and timing of the athletes. The competition attracted participants from different age groups and categories and demonstrated the high performance of the athletes.

record attempt and masterpieces

The performance of Jonas Kretschmer, who improved his own record, was particularly remarkable. In his competition, he initially achieved 103 steps in 30 seconds, but had to conclude 102 recognized steps due to a time correction. This number corresponds to 204 rope turns and underlines its ability to jump at high speed. This performance has special relevance, since it not only represents a personal success, but also shows how the standards in sport can be redefined again and again.

The placements achieved are remarkable: Luisa Layer secured gold in the youth class in the 30-second sprint. Jonas Kretschmer was also awarded gold in the elite category. Another gold medal went to Marcel Friedl, who shone in the speed contest for over three minutes and in the discipline of the triple under and both in the elite class.

The silver medals went to Luisa Layer, Miriam Zmill, Jasmin Geist, Marcel Friedl and Jonas Kretschmer, while among the bronze ginners Luisa Layer together with Katja Steininger in a double-end-relay and Mia Müller in a team with Katja Steininger and Luisa Layer in the double dutch speed sprint.

These successes not only show the excellent skills of the Rope Skipper from Groß Siegharts, but also the exciting development and the growth of sport in the region. The event will certainly also awaken the anticipation for the upcoming European Championships in Hungary in the summer of 2024, where the athletes can demonstrate their skills on an even larger stage.
