An unforgettable day: Christmas drift for children with special needs
On December 14, 2024, a very special day for children with special needs in Waidhofen an der Thaya will be organized. Gregor Badura invites you to "Christmas Drift", a free experience full of driving fun and motorsport, which is made possible by spacious sponsors and the organizers.
The event offers children the opportunity to take a seat in three impressive vehicles. These are powerful cars, including a Mitsubishi Evo 10 with approx. 300 hp, a Toyota yaris with approx. 260 hp and a Toyota Gr86 that has 160 hp. These cars are driven safely and under the guidance of experienced instructor: inside of the ÖAMTC driving technique, which ensures the safety of the participants.
Gregor Badura's passion for children
Gregor Badura is not just the organizer of this fantastic event; He also shares a personal passion for motorsport and is committed to giving children with special needs. According to his own words, there is nothing better for him than to see the rays in the eyes of the children while enjoying unforgettable experiences. "There is nothing better than looking into the bright eyes of the children and knowing that they have given them an unforgettable moment," says Badura. His commitment is shown in every aspect of the event, be it when choosing the cars or the support by a committed team of helpers: Interior.
The course of the day provides for a joint departure with a bulldight bus at 10 a.m. from the Ziegengeiststrasse bus stop. Parents and supervisors are invited to accompany the children. The driving program in the ÖAMTC Fahrtechnik Center in Melk begins at 12 noon, and the event ends at 5 p.m.
In addition to the exciting trips, part of the funds collected by donations or the event will benefit a charitable purpose to help people in need.
