A traffic accident on the B19 caused considerable traffic jams this afternoon. At 4:48 p.m., the Tulln-Stadt volunteer fire brigade was alerted to drive to an accident towards Autobahn S5. The situation was tense because four vehicles were involved in a rear -end collision, which brought all traffic to a standstill.
After the emergency services arrived and a quick accident recording by the police, it was found that several people were injured. The fire brigade was required not only to clear the wreckage parts from the road, but also to bind away operating resources in order to avoid a threat to other road users.
