Last weekend, the exams for the fire brigade youth services badge (FJLA) took place in Gold in Tulln. Young people from the Mistelbach district have prepared intensively for this event and showed extraordinary achievements. The FJLA in gold is considered the highest award for the fire brigade youth and sets high standards that require both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in various disciplines.
In the exams, the participants in areas such as equipment science, emergency behavior and the completion of a challenging obstacle railway were required. Under the eyes of the experienced examiners, the young fire brigade members demonstrated that they were well prepared and they managed to convince with their teamwork and their diligence.outstanding individual services
The performance of JFM Marie Pejcl from Schrattenberg is particularly noteworthy. She scored 298 points and secured the 10th place in the nationwide comparison with this performance. In addition, she was awarded the best -placed participant in the district and is also the best -placed girl in Lower Austria, which makes her performance all the more remarkable.But the other participants from Mistelbach also came up with good results. JFM Kaitlyn Pichler from the Bullendorf fire brigade finished 26th with 296 points. JFM Tobia Karall from Hobersdorf followed in 40th place with 293 points. Other participants such as JFM Annika Ipsmiller, JFM Victoria Gepperth and JFM Florian Zawrel also achieved solid placements in the upper ranks.
A number of other results underlined the strength of the youth fire brigade in the district: JFM Elias Rathbauer took 108th place, while JFM Alisa Gloria Wiesinger came in 118. JFM Franziska Epp and the two participants JFM Kai Schiffmann and JFM Isabella Pfeiffer completed the list of participants from Mistelbach with their successes in the competition.
District fire brigade commander OBR Markus Schuster was impressed by the performance of the young firefighters. He praised the discipline and the commitment of the young people and said: "The great results of our young people prove that diligence, perseverance and teamwork pay off.
