Progress in the Tulln district: How the projects of 2023 change us
In 2023, there were numerous future projects on the agenda in the Tulln district, which were now being examined for their implementation. The challenges ranged from renovation work to new buildings to childcare. An overview of the progress shows that some projects have been implemented in Tulln.
In the two districts of Judenauer and Langenlebarner, extensive road renovations were tackled. The first section of the renovation work in the Langenlebarner district started with Siegfriedgasse this year and is to be completed by the end of the year. In Hagengasse, a cable renovation will soon begin, followed by a residents' meeting for future road design, which will then be implemented in 2025.
Current developments and projects
In the Judenau district, the renovations were started on Römerweg and the upper Gwendtgasse. A new sidewalk design and gravel lawn will ensure improved quality of stay. These measures are not only practical, but also contribute to the beautification of the cityscape.
Another important project is the expansion of the Technopol Tulln, especially in the field of digitization. Mayor Peter Eisenschenk emphasizes that well -trained workers are the key to make Tulln attractive as a location for companies in the digitization industry. In this context, the Digbiz branch of the HAK was launched and a new course at the Tulln University of Applied Sciences. These are important steps to strengthen the digital scene on site.
Promotion of the community and childcare
A remarkable project is "City of Together" in which the workshop day was launched. Since then, meetings have been held regularly in which citizens can discuss and implement their ideas. Some successful initiatives, such as the clothing exchange party, have arisen from this. The completion of the Nibelungenplatz also promoted the community spirit, with around 6,400 visitors to show active interest at public events in summer and autumn.
The decisive steps were taken in the area of childcare. Since September, the kindergartens in Lower Austria have also been open to two -year -olds, which made an increase in places necessary. A new kindergarten location in the Pixendorf residential park was set up in Michelhausen, which now offers another place for early childhood care. An extension in Fels on Wagram was also completed in time for the kindergarten year 2024/25.
"With these measures, we would like to enable all children and their families to have a high -quality childcare offer," said Mayor Bernhard Heinl. With these progress, the district of Tulln shows that it not only plans to the future, but also becomes active in the present to promote quality of life and a sense of community.
