At this year's capital ball in St. Pölten, the guests experienced a spectacular opening, which began with a rousing appearance of the European ballet. Florient Cador impressed as Freddie Mercury and led through the choreography of the ballet "Queen". The traditional opening polonaise was also a highlight in which Mayor Matthias Stadler, who celebrates a special anniversary this year, danced with the President of the Landtag Eva Prischl. Matthias Stadler celebrates 20 years in office
In a special fixing, Mayor Matthias Stadler celebrated on the occasion of his 20th anniversary. Since 2004 he has headed the city's fortunes as the latest city head of St. Pölten and has been impressively confirmed in office in the municipal elections since then.
