Pottenbrunn Nursing Center: Creditors save the home in front of ruin!
Pottenbrunn, Österreich - The Pottenbrunn nursing center is saved from bankruptcy and can now breathe a sigh of relief. At the St. Pölten regional court, the creditors approved a renovation plan that ensures the continued existence of the nursing home. This affects not only the 78 older residents, but also the approximately 60 employees. Insolvency expert Stephan Mazal from Creditreform confirmed that the creditors will receive a repayment of 30 percent on their claims, with 10 percent being paid out as a bar quota by the end of March 2025. Two further partial amounts of 10 percent each are financed from continued operation within one and two years.
renovation and continuation
The care center Vasko GmbH, which was opened in 2005, had filed for bankruptcy in November 2024. During the bankruptcy proceedings, the company was fully continued for the residents. The continued existence of the nursing home is guaranteed with the now assumed renovation plan. A total of 30 creditors and the employees claimed claims of around 1.73 million euros, which underlines the urgency of the renovation, as well as nön.at reported.
