Sustainable future for anesthesia and care: A look back at the AIS Congress

This year's AIS Congress recently took place in the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, which was made under the lead motif "Forming the future?!" stand. Around 100 experts from the field of anesthesia and intensive care took part in the various program items, which included lectures, workshops and presentations. The aim was to illuminate current developments and challenges in the health sector and to discuss innovative solutions.

The event was held for the second time and represented a platform on which experts from practice were able to exchange ideas with students and teachers. Gabriel Wiesbauer and André Lehmann from the University Hospital St. Pölten and Manuel Kaider, lecturer at the Health and Nursing Department, emphasized how important it is to develop and implement new approaches in anesthesia and intensive care. This is necessary to meet the challenges of the future.

diverse workshops and exciting discussions

The highlights of the congress included the practical workshops in which the participants, for example, practiced fibroscopic waxing or participating in a so-called care escape room. These formats not only offered valuable practical experiences, but also underlined the close integration of theory and practice in the course.

The study at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and at the Mauer Education Campus in Mauer enables students to achieve extensive skills and knowledge for their future work in the health sector. The training also includes a course for preclinical care and care, which means that graduates are optimally prepared for the challenges at work.

The AIS Congress impressively illustrated how any new technologies and methods can be integrated into the existing structures in order to ensure even more effective patient care. The exchange between the participants was perceived as particularly enriching and led to new ideas and approaches that could be implemented in the future.

Another aspect that was intensively discussed during the congress was the importance of sustainable solutions in healthcare. The initiators emphasized that it was of central importance not only to solve short -term problems, but also to develop long -term perspectives that meet both the needs of the patients and the challenges of the health system.

Overall, the AIS Congress offered a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and to set the course for a sustainable future in anesthesia and intensive care. The congress is firmly established as an important part of the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and is eagerly awaited what the next issue will bring.
