End of an era: Kika/Leiner before the final bankruptcy!

The Kika/Leiner furniture chain is on the abyss! After the failed renovation process, the company has now been converted into bankruptcy proceedings. On January 17, 2025, the first creditor meeting took place at the St. Pölten regional court, where insolvency administrator Volker Leitner explained the situation to the present, as today.at According to Leitner, the 17 branches still existing are to be sold down a large part of their goods by January 31, 2025. From then on, the operation of the branches will be hired immediately, which will make 1,350 employees lose their job.
