Christmas sounds from Reinsberg: Choir Interior Woarm Published CD

The Reinsberger choir "Interior WoARM" recently published its new CD entitled "Advent", which appears on time for the upcoming Christmas season. Since July, the members of the choir have been working intensively on this project to promote the festive mood and to share the anticipation for the holidays.

choir director Daniela Faschingleitner describes the desire to record Christmas songs again after 17 years: "It was a heart's desire to tune in to the contemplative time." The CD comprises a variety of atmospheric advent songs that are presented in different styles.

In October, the musical admission took place under professional management in the Musium Reinsberg. Gottfried Zawichowski from the Choral scene Lower Austria and sound engineer Roland Baumann were responsible for the recordings. Together they were working to record 15 choir and instrumental pieces that form the heart of the CD. A special highlight is the Quartet Flögonett of the Musikverein Reinsberg, which can be heard with newly composed pieces by pianist Stefan Wachauer.

The songs on the CD "Advent" are characterized by a remarkable stylistic diversity. Traditional sounds are interpreted in an innovative way, Advent songs can also be heard in the dialect and in English and Spanish, supplemented by folk melodies as well as sounds from jazz and swing.

The CD will be available to the public from the end of November. The concerts will take place on Sunday, November 24th at 2 p.m. in the parish church of Lunz and on Saturday, December 14th at 3:30 p.m. in the parish church of Reinsberg.
