Hubertusmesse: thanks to the huntership for nature and security

recently there was a special Hubertus fair in Vienna, which was dedicated to the gratitude of the hunters to their patron saint, St. Hubertus. This spiritual event was organized in the chapel as St. Elisabeth and the Holy Archangel Michael and enjoyed the musical accompaniment by the horners of the University of Natural Resources

Michael Takács, the Federal Police Director and even hunter, thanked in his speech for a successful hunting year and emphasized the important role of hunting crafts for humans and nature. This event attracted around 50 guests of honor, including numerous police officers and members of the hunters. Takács emphasized that celebrating and respecting nature and the encouraged game is an important appreciation.

joint security in focus

One of the highlights of the evening was a specialist exchange that took place with the Lower Austrian state hunter Josef Pröll and Norbert Walter, the state hunter of Vienna. Michael Hochgerner, the district commander of the police in Lilienfeld, was also present.

The Hubertusmesse is the end of an almost ten -year successful cooperation between the police and the hunters. This partnership, which is under the motto "Sure with the hunters", has its origins in the Lilienfeld district. The aim of this cooperation is to promote animal welfare and traffic safety.
