Lower Austria State Government decides on funding for fire engines and agricultural projects
At the meeting of the Lower Austrian state government, which took place under the chairmanship of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, important decisions were made. One of the measures adopted concerns the support of the volunteer fire brigades Herzogenburg-Stadt, City of Gmünd, Tulln-Stadt, Tulbing, Neidling and Hausleiten. The state government approved funding commitments of a total of 652,750 euros for one assistance vehicle with all -wheel drive for these fire departments.
Another decision concerned the upcoming elections in the agricultural chambers. The election day was set on March 9, 2025, with the key date of November 11, 2024. The exact election advertisement is published in the State Law Gazette for Lower Austria.
In addition, it was decided that the Gut Streitdorf Egen producer group should receive a funding of 100,000 euros for two projects in connection with the paragraph of quality cattle and sheep and goat meat. These funds should help support the marketing and sales of these products.
Another decision concerned the municipal association for tasks of environmental protection in the Mistelbach district (Gaum). This received a funding of EUR 116,583 in accordance with the Lower Austria Waste Management Act to establish a group -wide recycling center in Stützenhofen, Drasenhofen.
The Lower Austria Volleyball Association was also supported for the period from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 with a funding of 213,000 euros for measures and projects in youth performance in the sports volleyball and beach volleyball.
