Exciting tie: U23 Homburg and Neunkirchen share the points
On Wednesday evening, an exciting duel between the U23 of FC 08 Homburg and Borussia Neunkirchen took place as part of the Schröder League Saar. The two teams separated with a 2-2 draw, with the game offering numerous twists.
The U23 showed a committed performance from the start and performed dominantly. In the 27th minute, Homburg took the lead through Mika Gilcher. After a flank test by Merouane Taghzoute, which prevailed on the left, the ball initially landed at goalkeeper Maximilian Strack. But Gilcher did not miss the chance and sank the margin on the net.
