Late on Thursday afternoon, November 28th, 2024, there was a violent argument on the Bliespromenade in Neunkirchen. The incident occurred around 2:35 p.m. near the pedestrian bridge between Lindenallee and Brückenstraße. A 24-year-old man of Somali origin asked a 16-year-old youth of Iraqi nationality to give him money.
What started as a verbal conflict quickly escalated and developed into a physical argument. The teenager's 15-year-old brother intervened, which further inflamed the situation. The fight finally continued on Brückenstrasse, where other relatives of those involved also joined in and intervened in the argument.
Witnesses report chaotic scenes
Passers-by observed the scuffles, which were characterized by punches and kicks.
