The perch season started again in Lower Austria, and last weekend numerous groups showed that they have the talent to be amazed both goosebumps and amazement. Over 15 Krampus groups from all over Austria also frolicked on the main square in Mistelbach and ensured a spectacular experience with pyrotechnics and impressive light and music effects.

Another highlight took place on Lake Ebersdorfer, where the costumes and the loud bell ringing put on the crowds. The perch run there was a harmonious fusion of mysticism and entertainment and offered both locals and visitors a festival that they will not forget so quickly. In Sigmundsherberg, too, the Hellen Teifl were on the road and welcomed the audience to a new Krampus run, which attracted around 600 visitors, including Nikolaus and his angels, who provided a lot of joy among the children.

Despite the cold weather, the spectators flocked to the events in droves. The Perchtenlauf in Siegersdorf was a true feast for the eyes with over 40 Krampusen that captivated the viewers with their jokes and fiery entertainment.
