New triple location in Neunkirchen: Sustainable shopping begins!
In Neunkirchen, a new shopping center was opened on November 28, which combines three branches: Billa, Bipa and Penny. This significant project was created in just eight months and offers a total of 2,200 m² sales area directly on the federal road.
The development of this location is not only economical, but also ecologically remarkable. With the aim of creating environmentally friendly shops, the entire building was built according to strict requirements for the "Green Pass" certification and receives the award in silver.
sustainability in focus
The large -scale greening of the facade is particularly impressive, supplemented by shade trees in the parking lot, which offers space for around 100 vehicles. This approach improves the microclimate in the area and promotes a pleasant shopping experience. Stefan Weinlich, Sales Director of Billa, said: "The new location in Neunkirchen shows an example of how we combine sustainability and modern shopping. The triple location Neunkirchen is therefore a significant step into a greener future of trade."
The new system also relies on biological diversity. It contains climate -resistant trees and shrubs as well as special drainage areas that work on the preservation of biodiversity. In addition, insect hotels and flower meadows are installed on the site to support natural biodiversity. A photovoltaic system that produces 100 % green electricity in addition to the reduction of the CO 2 emissions.
traffic flow and job opportunities
With the opening of the new business, new jobs are also being created: Billa employs 30, BIPA Sieben and Penny ten employees. But the new location also brings challenges. The installation of an additional traffic light on the federal road has the potential to further slow down the flow of traffic. Residents and commuters fear that this could still exacerbate the already complex traffic situation at adjacent crossings, such as the Hauer crossing and the junction to the hospital.
The opening of the new shopping center promises to create interesting opportunities for the Neunkirchen region, both with regard to retail and in terms of environmental protection. It remains to be seen which long -term effects the location will have on the environment.
