New mountain bike routes: Wexl Trails expand adventures in St. Corona

On Saturday, October 12th, there was an important opening in St. Corona on the change, which inspires the mountain bike community. The Wexl Trails, a well -known attraction for cyclists, have expanded their offer. In the future, visitors will not only be able to use the existing routes, but also look forward to two new trails that will be available in autumn 2024. These are created between the Almrauschhütte and the storage pond to make the guests' stay even more attractive.

The managing director of Wexl Trails, Karl Morgenbesser, was positive about the cooperation with the district authority and the trail team. He emphasized that the goal of his organization is to offer guests an extensive experience and at the same time ensure the sustainability of the company. "We want to develop new routes that can be used by mountain bikers even in times with less snow," said Morgen Besser.

Governor Mikl-Leitner and climate change

Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, who emphasized the importance of adjustments to climate change, was also present during the opening ceremony. "Climate change is noticeable and adjustments are necessary. Karl Morgenbesser always believed in this region, and I am happy every time I am here and see that progress is actually made," she said

The new routes are specially designed for different target groups. The true novelty is the "Insta360 Line", a jumpline that was recently opened, as well as an additional section of the flow trail, which will soon be accessible. These developments appeal to young cyclists who are looking for new challenges.

focus on safety and fun

Philipp Wiedhofer, the traily trails' traily designer, explained that the goal was to offer the mountain bikers a safe and entertaining experience. "We deliberately avoid dangerous jumps to minimize the risk of injury." The "Insta360 Jump-Line" has a length of 700 meters and offers 45 depth of departure, while the "Flowtrail Upper Part" is 750 meters long and also measures 45 deep meters.

Another supporter of the initiative is Gerhard Angerer, specialist inspector for movement education and sport. He is convinced that cycling and mountain biking should be an integral part of school sports and sees a great way to inspire young people for sport in working with the Wexl Trails.

The coming months promise exciting experiences for mountain bikers of all ages. The WexL trails continue to set standards in the region and offer a far -reaching leisure offer. More information about the new developments are on www.meinbezirk.at to be found.
