Love shifts and farmer's matters: Successful premiere in Mönichkirchen

The Theater Group Mönichkirchen recently brought a new piece onto the stage, which conquered the hearts of the audience in the parish hall. Last Friday, the comedy "Liebeschichten and Agricultural Matters" was premiered, a work that was written by the director Susanna Dorner herself. Her premiere on November 15th enjoyed a great response because the hall was filled with around 180 guests and the performances for the coming weekends are already sold out.

The big rush to the cards is proof of the interest and enthusiasm of the local community for the theater. Susanna Dorner dared to create this course of writer and set out to create a piece that gives the audience enjoying. She says of her motivation: "I thought this year that I would trust myself. It has a bit of a touch of 'Bauer sucht Frau'." The fact that the theater audience appreciates its work very much is clearly evident in the early sale of all presentation dates.

A look at the plot

The story is about a single farmer named Sepp. He is looking for great love, but his mother is impatient and urges him to finally find a partner. Sepp, on the other hand, fights with his shyness and is unsure how to tackle this step. The piece raises the question: Will Sepp be able to find his great love, or does he remain alone?

The performance also attracted the attention of local dignitaries, among the audience was the mayor of Mönichkirchen, Andreas Graf, and his vice Martin Tauchner, as well as the mayor of Edlitz, Thomas Ernst, and Pastor Dietmar Orglmeister. Manfred Bernadi, the chairman of the village renewal association, was among the interested spectators.

With this new production, the Mönichkirchen theater group proves that the local theater life remains active and alive. Susanna Dorner managed to create a piece that illustrates the everyday challenges and the pursuit of love in a humorous way. The great interest of the visitors shows how important such cultural events are for the region.
