Burglary series in daycare centers: perpetrators steal cash and documents!

Last week, the break-ins in kindergartens and social institutions in the communities of Ruppichteroth, Much and Neunkirchen-Seelscheid increased. The police are determined and the focus is on the procedure of the unknown perpetrators.

In the burglaries that took place between Saturday, September 28th and Monday, September 30th, unknown burglars penetrated violently in at least three daycare centers and a building of Caritas. The damage is worrying, even if it has so far moved within moderate limits.

Burglaries in detail

In the daycare center on the street "Auf der Burghardt" in the Schönenberg district of Ruppichteroth, a window on the ground floor was pried up. The burglars stole a minor sum of 20 euros cash. Similarly, the facility on the street "Am Colonel" in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, where the perpetrators stole 40 euros from the offices after they had also lifted a window.

In Much-Hetzenholz, the unknowns continued their slump and again entered another daycare center through a lifted window. No cash amounts were taken here, but folders and folders were taken from rather low value. In addition, they violently entered a Caritas building on Kirchstrasse and stole a further 30 euros in cash.

The police are currently investigating whether there is a connection between the different burglaries. The entire property damage caused by these actions is estimated at several hundred euros, which is a considerable effort for the facilities concerned.
