Voluntary dementia helpers: Four women are committed to those affected!
Martin-Luther-Straße 2, 66564 Ottweiler, Deutschland - Ottweiler. An important step for the support of dementia and their relatives: In cooperation with the Caritas Association for the Schaumberg-Blies region, the district of Neunkirchen has trained a new group of volunteers. District Administrator Sören Meng proudly presented the certificates to four committed women who are now willing to assist those affected in everyday life.
"This training was anything but easy!" Emphasizes Simone Lofi-theobald from the Caritas Association. The newly trained helpers not only gained medical and nursing knowledge, but also learned how they can deal sensitively with people with dementia. District Administrator Meng praised the tireless efforts of the new helpers: "Your commitment is priceless! You not only offer support, but also human closeness and understanding in a time when many people urgently need help."
