New Year's reception in Waidhofen: Entrepreneurs fight against bureaucracy and costs!

The Waidhofen/Thaya Chamber of Commerce Last Thursday invited to the New Year's reception 2025 and welcomed numerous guests. The focus of this event, where entrepreneurs from the district came together, were primarily the casual exchange and networking opportunities. District office manager Alexander Vogl was delighted with the presence of prominent guests such as Wolfgang Ecker, the President of the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce, as well as numerous other personalities from politics and business, including the Member of the National Council Martina Diesner-Wais and Harald Servus, and Mayor Josef Ramharter, such as Noen.at reported.

The event not only offered a framework for personal encounters, but also addressed important economic challenges that affect companies in Lower Austria. High wage and energy costs as well as growing bureaucracy are still central issues that dampen the consumption mood. Wolfgang Ecker described these developments as a sign of a crisis of trust and called for a reduction in bureaucracy and lower non -wage costs to improve the economic situation. The shortage of skilled workers and the high energy prices were also emphasized as urgent tasks for 2025, such as "https://www.meinbezirk.at/waidhofenthaya/cwirtschaftskammer-lud-zum-neujahrs-2025_A77425"> Meinbezirk.at noted.

The key role of the district office of Waidhofen/Thaya was particularly emphasized during the New Year's reception as a reliable contact for the local entrepreneurs. Marlene Böhm-Lauter, the district office chair, pointed out the importance of direct contact and advice from experts, in particular with regard to economic and commercial law, labor and social law as well as questions about the establishment and handover of companies. The Chamber of Commerce sees itself as a critical partner who stands by the company in challenging times and can help them navigate through the thicket of bureaucracy.
