Enjoyment and solidarity: HLW students promote children's aid in Mistelbach
On November 1st, a very special event took place in Mistelbach in the sign of enjoyment and solidarity. The municipality had invited to the higher educational institution for economic professions (HLW) for the beneficiary. Under the motto "Do not talk, but enjoy and network", the students served a feast, the income of which should benefit from a social purpose.
This year the proceeds went to the VKKJ (responsibility and competence for special children and adolescents), which operates an outpatient ray for children with disabilities in Mistelbach. Mayor Erich Stubenvoll emphasized the importance of the event, which enables it to buy "things for the open area and music education".
a feast for a good cause
The culinary arts of the HLW students offered the guests a rich menu. The highlights included Martinigansl, served with apple red cabbage and napkin dumplings, as well as a delicious goose soup. Sweet dumplings made of chocolate and chocolate, accompanied by vanilles sauce, formed the crowning glory. The director Eva-Maria Hauska, headmistress Elfriede Eisenecker and chef Robert Klima were enthusiastic about the excellent work of her students.
The benefit meal was not only a culinary, but also a social matter. Numerous representatives from the health, administrative, educational and economic world came together, which emphasized the integrative mood of the event. Mayor Stubenvoll emphasized that "everyone who is here plays a role in society". The Mistelbacher Hans Köppen, Managing Director of the House of the Sea in Vienna, was won as a table speaker, which inspired the guests with his words.
Such events not only strengthen the community, but also promote social cohesion. It is clear that the success of the evening is thanks to the committed students and the organizers. The yield of the evening will help create valuable resources for palliative needs and to improve the quality of life of children with special needs.
