A traffic accident occurred on Monday evening in Mannersdorf near Zelking in the Melk district when a car driver came off the road with his vehicle. The car overturned several times and landed on the roof in an adjacent meadow.
The driver was able to free himself from the badly damaged car on his own. He was supported by other road users at the scene of the accident who provided first aid. This help was crucial until the rescue workers arrived that transported the injured man to a hospital.
The voluntary fire brigades of Mannersdorf and Pöchlarn were also on site to recover the accident car. They ensured that the vehicle was turned onto the bikes and then towed.
