New wind in Mank: Welcome to the new registrations 2023!

The municipality of Mank recently presented itself as the heart of the region when it invited to the traditional new aligner meeting. This meeting, which took place in the Manker town hall, served to integrate new residents, who now want to get to know their new home better. In a cozy atmosphere, around 20 freshly moved -ups were able to collect the first impressions of MANK at the champagne reception and receive important information about the community.

With a current population of 3,809, Man is a multifaceted place that is home to people from 29 different nations. The 94 percent of Austrian citizens are impressive among the inhabitants, which underlines general belonging to home. The remaining 6 percent are distributed over a total of 28 countries, proof of the international broadcast of the community.

Welcome to Mank

Mayor Leonhardsberger was pleased with the lively interest and participation in the event. He emphasized how exciting it was to find out the various reasons why people move to Mank. During an informative presentation, supplemented by a film about the city, the new mankers were able to learn more about the offers and diversity that MANK has to offer.

The opening of the event included a performance round in which the new ones could describe their impressions. Many praised the short distances in the city and the opportunity to easily reach numerous shops on foot. Pastor Wolfgang Reisenhofer also presented the activities of the Mank parish and provided an insight into the cultural life of the community.

The evening found a sociable end to the cinema cafe "8 millimeters", where the conversations were continued in a relaxed atmosphere. The new aligner meeting not only contributes to integration, but also conveys a strong sense of community that is of great importance for the mankers.
