The village renewal in the municipalities of Spielberg, Pielach and Pielachberg has exciting plans for ecological heat supply to their club center. Under the roof of FC Hubertus, the club house is upgraded CO2-free. Thanks to the financial support of "pride in our village" from the Lower Austrian village and urban renewal, the photovoltaic system, which already delivers the "solar power", is now also used for hot water preparation. Innovative funding models for sustainable projects
In the context of the restructuring of the village and urban renewal in Lower Austria, the funding opportunities for sustainable projects are significantly improved. As part of “pride in our village”, village renewal clubs can now submit smaller projects with up to 80% of the eligible costs, but a maximum of 2,500 euros. This flexible support specifically supports sustainable measures in the communities that work on planning and implementing their visions. Interested clubs must be a member of the Lower Austria village and urban renewal. A special focus in 2024 is on “lighthouse projects” that aim to revive a comprehensive residential core. For this purpose, an integrated urban development concept (ISEK) prerequisite that must not be older than seven years.
