Abbey Lilienfeld opens the abbey tea with regional delicacies!
The Lilienfeld Abbey, a jewel of Lower Austrian culture, has opened its doors again! The popular offers of the abbey tavern are now in full swing, and the flagship of the culinary pleasure, Abbot Pius Maurer, underlines the tradition of hospitality. "The Lilienfeld Abbey has been a place of contemplation and hospitality for centuries," he explains. This is now happening with a new, regionally inspired menu, which was put together with a lot of love by chef Priska Gravogl. Whether classic delicacies or modern delicacies - every palate gets their money's worth here. Particularly noteworthy are the dishes with ingredients from the environment that create a tasteful connection to the region.
opening times and offers
The abbey tea is open on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy warm kitchen until 2:00 p.m., followed by a Jausen card that promises a quick and delicious lunch. Special opening times are also offered on other days for larger groups of 20 people or more to design individual celebrations. The market strategy not only includes traditional dishes, but also offers a "breakfast from the buffet", which includes some regional specialties such as abbey bread and yogurt from our own abbey kitchen. The wine comes from one of the monks from Unterdürnbach in the Weinviertel, which gives the culinary experience an authentic touch.
The business director Michael Renz emphasizes that the abbey tea is not only a place of food, but also ensures encounters and unforgettable hours in a unique atmosphere. The historical pen, which is now one of the top excursion destinations in Lower Austria, attracts numerous visitors who want to enjoy both cultural and gastronomic offers.
