State government approves millions of funds for cross -community recycling center in Poysdorf
The Lower Austrian state government made some significant decisions at its last meeting. Under the direction of Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, various decisions were made that affect both the municipalities and environmental protection.
First of all, grants of 4,865,494.90 euros were granted to the Lower Austrian communities. This financial support should help the communities to improve their household and perform important tasks.
The municipal association for tasks of environmental protection in the Mistelbach (Gaum) district (Gaum) was also approved to receive a funding of 152,815 euros for the establishment of a cross -municipal recycling center (WSZ) in Poysdorf. This facility will help to improve waste management in the region and to make it more environmentally friendly.Another important decision concerns the annual membership fees of the state of Lower Austria at the Lower Austrian Water Associations. These were approved in the amount of 348,969.48 euros. These contributions are necessary to maintain the rivers in a proper condition and to ensure environmental protection and water quality in the region.
In addition, the estimate for 2025 of the Board of Trustees of the Lower Austrian Water Management Fund was approved. A total of 21,918,500 euros will be available for the coming year to promote projects in the areas of settlement water management and water ecological measures.
These decisions of the Lower Austrian state government are of great importance for regional development and environmental protection. They support the municipalities financially and contribute to sustainable and future -oriented waste management and water management.
