New AST stops in the Reiserbach valley: More mobility for stone

Now the residents in the Reiserbach valley can enjoy another advantage: two new stops of the Krems call collection taxis (AST) have recently opened. This initiative, which goes back to the proposals of the residents Karl Leckschmidt and the councilor Elfie Kreitner, enables the residents of the Stein district to connect to the transport system.

The new stops are located at strategically important points. One stop was set up in the slope settlement on Reiferbachtalstraße 30-36 and the other at the Alois Scholz-Nature teaching trail at Reinsperbachtalstrasse 82. These measures not only improve access to the call-collection taxi, but also the accessibility of the nature trail, which is particularly important for nature lovers.

facilitated mobility for residents

"I am pleased that we can now offer two more branch stops in part of Krems who have so far had no connection to the public transport network," says mobility councilor Alexandra Ambrosch. The introduction of these stops is an important step to promote the mobility of the residents and to make it easier for them to use public transport.

The call collection taxi can be ordered by phone at Taxi Berger at taxi Berger at least 30 minutes before the desired departure time. A price of 2.50 euros per zone is incurred for the trip.
