Autumn festival of the Lenz Moser winery: a ray of hope for the born 2024
On Saturday, November 16, the Lenz Moser winery celebrated its annual autumn festival in Rohrendorf. This event was all about thanks and appreciation for the numerous partners and employees who are involved in the particularly good vintage 2024. The event was a nice occasion to celebrate the success of the company and at the same time to strengthen the connection to the people behind the wine.
This year the cabaret artist Gery Seidl had the honor of taking over the wine sponsorship. He gave the Green Veltliner Selection 2024 the name "Lichtblick", a reference to his commitment to the charity project "Lichtblickhof". Abbot Georg Wilfinger blessed the wine during the solemn baptism. The festival attracted numerous guests from politics, business and culture, who were warmly welcomed by the chairman of the board of directors Andreas Pirschl and manager Ing. Michael Rethaller.
A look behind the scenes of the new year
manager Michael Rethaller presented the new vintage, which, despite the challenges of heat waves, frost and floods, appears promising. The 2024 vintage is ripe and fine fruity. The winery team used its commitment and cohesion to ensure excellent wine quality even under difficult conditions. A big thank you went to the winegrowers who deliver their grapes with a lot of passion to create the basis for this quality.
The guests were also given the opportunity to try the new young wine, accompanied by a delicious Martinigansl. Live music provided the musical entertainment, which contributed to the exuberant mood of the evening.
Another highlight of the evening was the handover of donations for charitable purposes. Board Andreas Pirschl presented Abbot Georg Wilfinger a check for the project "Auro Danubia - Abbey Melk helps orphans in Saniob/Romania". In addition, a donation was handed over to the Hartheim Institute for Medical Devices and 10,000 euros in light in the dark to support the Lichtblick-Hof. The support of local initiatives is in line with the tradition of the wine winery to get socially committed.
The evening was led by moderator Verena Scheitz, who led through the program and contributed to the cheerfulness of the evening. The students of the HLF Krems, who were responsible for the service, also received a lot of praise for their attentive and friendly service. The autumn festival of the Lenz Moser winery has developed into an important industry meeting that not only celebrates wine, but also the community and the cohesion of the people in the region.
