Colorful learning: The painter children's book conquers Lower Austria
In a new initiative to promote professional orientation among children, the painters in Lower Austria have published an entertaining children's book. The story follows the adventures of Mia and Ben, who explore a colorful painting workshop. This book offers young readers an insight into everyday life and the tasks of a painter. "Due to the child-friendly preparation of the professional field, the children can playfully learn which exciting activities are associated with it," emphasizes State Councilor Teschl-Hofmeister.
The state guild master Jürgen Kreibich explains: "It is never too early to get to know professions and develop an interest in it." This book attempts to offer visualizations of colorful life as a painter and to bring the diversity of this craft closer to the children. "We want to break new ground and show how colorful professional life and our painting trade are," he adds.
First copies in Krems distributed
The first copies of the painter children's book were recently handed over to the Hohensteingasse kindergarten in Krems. The book, written by Claudia Skopal and illustrated by Bernd Lehmann, will be available in kindergartens and elementary schools across Lower Austria in the future. The illustrations capture the lively atmosphere of the painting workshop and make reading a captivating and educational experience for the children. The presentation of the book should not only inform, but also stimulate the imagination and inspire the children to deal with various professions that could be important in their later life.
This reading initiative of the state guild represents a connection between learning content and specialist knowledge, packaged in an amusing story that is both entertaining and instructive for young readers. The importance of such projects lies not only in early professional experience, but also in the promotion of creative ways of thinking among the children.
