After the crime, the attacker fled, possibly after previously performed robbery, in which he captured wristwatches. A subsequent alarm search initially did not achieve any success. Ultimately, however, the robbery of the Lower Austria State Criminal Police Office was able to find the alleged perpetrator. He was arrested on Saturday evening by forces of the operational group to combat street crime (EGS) in Linz.
When interrogating, the young man was comprehensively confessed. At the request of the public prosecutor, he was transferred to the Krems prison. The case has already caused a conversation in the region, not least because of the brutality of the deeds and the age of the perpetrator.
