This location will offer an official training area for the special units of the federal police, including Wega and SIG. The former location of an asylum quarters has no longer been in operation in recent months due to the decline in asylum applications, which creates such opportunities for reuse. Federal Police Director Michael Takacs emphasized that the central location near Vienna is invaluable for the forces because it is difficult to find suitable exercise objects.
