Tennis stars celebrate great success at the Prahmwos Cup in Alberndorf

In Alberndorf, the best tennis players in the region recently met for an exciting tournament as part of the Prahmwos Cup. At this event, which started in early September and due to a flood break, numerous athletes competed against each other to demonstrate their skills on the pitch.

The lightning tournament, a special highlight of the cup, was won by the team Alina Hofstetter and Uwe Lang. They prevailed in an exciting final against Alex Plank and Michael Weinwurm. In the individual competition, Uwe Lang also secured first place and defeated Hollabrunner Florian Rihacek.

The award ceremony for the overall evaluation of the Prahmwos Cup was another highlight of the competition. Roman Arbeiter triumphed in the men's category, while Katrin Arbes gained first place among the women, followed by Alex Plank and Tanja Girlich. But the TCA (Tennis Club Alberndorf) not only celebrated success at the Prahmwos Cup. The team was also able to win the NötV championship Ü35 in the last game against TC Ollersdorf. The victorious team included Uwe Lang, Andi Schnitzer, Daniel Kappe and Martin Life Juice, who together showed an impressive appearance.

Another exciting tournament took place in the Ü50 category, in which 16 participants competed against each other in various rounds. After a group phase and the following final games, Peter Haslinger emerged as the winner, followed by Norbert Löffl and Mario Koran. These competitions illustrate the enthusiasm for tennis in the region and the different age groups that actively participate.
