Hollabrunn in fever: 22nd Teufellauf enthusiast with Krampus tradition

In Hollabrunn, an impressive spectacle is closer, which is known beyond the borders of the region. November 30th is the day on which the 22nd Teufell run of the Hollabrunner Krampusverein takes place. This extraordinary event transforms the main square into a very lively and dark scenery, which is shaped by Krampusen and witches from all over Austria.

A total of around 150 of these eerie figures are expected this year. These include participants from Tyrol, Salzburg, Carinthia, Styria, Burgenland and of course from Lower Austria. Chairman Alexander Rausch and his team are well prepared and look forward to the scary guests who will bring the night to life in Hollabrunn.

The event is not only an eye- but also a feast for the ears. The demonstrations ensure a solemn, but also creepy atmosphere, and the viewers present can adapt to an impressive spectacle. Following the devil run, there is a “night flight into hell” in the sports hall, which will continue to heat the festive mood.
