Family -friendly hiking day in Jetzelsdorf inspires young and old
d as engagement of the village renewal association (DEV) in Jetzelsdorf was demonstrated by a lively hiking event on the national holiday. Many visitors, including numerous children, came to explore the beautiful surroundings of the vineyard. It was particularly gratifying that in addition to the hikes, an interesting flea market campaign took place in the Teufelsbauer guest house, which offered additional incentives for the participants.
The event included two different hiking routes that were suitable for both adults and children. While the adults chose a longer path, the children were allowed to take part in a shorter route with four exciting stations. Here the young participants had the chance to be active and to face sporting challenges, which they did with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.

A special highlight for the children was the so -called stamp game: for every successfully completed challenge at the stations, they received a stamp. Anyone who had collected four stamps in the flea market of the Teufelsbauer could look forward to small surprise gifts, which should increase the motivation and the fun of hiking.
Norbert Baumgartner, the chairman of the DEV, was enthusiastic about the high number of participants and the commitment of the members who contributed to the organization and implementation of the hiking day. "We are pleased that so many families have found their way to us. The interest in our activities is great and it shows how important such joint events are for the community," said Baumgartner.
The flea market, which was offered in addition to the hike, offered visitors a selection of bargains and special pieces organized by the members of the association. "There is nothing better than enjoying nature and doing something good for your own wallet," added Baumgartner.
Overall, the hiking day was a successful event that not only consolidated the community, but also put the joy of nature and joint experiences in the foreground. The use of the DEV and the numerous helpers was highly valued by the residents and participants. Such activities not only promote cohesion, but also raise awareness of the local environment and its beauty.
