30 years of crèche fans: Festive opening of the exhibition in Hollabrunn

In the old Hofmühle in Hollabrun, there is a special crib exhibition this week, which not only shows artistically designed cribs, but also celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Hollabrunn crib club. This event has now established itself as an integral part of the local event calendar and attracts many visitors.

The opening ceremony took place on Friday. Visitors were able to enjoy an impressive program, which was designed by Pan flute players Franz Schwingenschlögl, the singing group Eggenburg and a brass ensemble from Hollabrun. The association, known as the oldest crib association in Lower Austria, also gave the attendees interesting insights into its founding history and the development over the years.

opening times and exhibition details

The exhibited cribs can be seen until December 1st. The exhibition is open on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lovingly designed cribs are not only of interest for crib lovers, but also offer families and interested parties the opportunity to enjoy the pre -Christmas season in a festive ambience.

The initiative to organize this exhibition was very well received, and Renate and Erwin Sainitzer, who actively get involved in the cultural sector, received a certificate of the city to recognize their work. This honor was presented by City Councilor Elisabeth Schüttengruber-Holly and Member of the Landtag Richard Hogl. Such awards underline responsibility to actively promote local culture.

Overall, the crib exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for the citizens to deal with the tradition of playing nativity and to appreciate the creative work of the crib club. The carefully designed cribs tell stories and keep cultural traditions alive.
