Festive consecration in Ramsau: The community inspires the new tabernacle
Kaumberg, Österreich - On December 8, 2024, the village church of Ramsau celebrated a special day, which not only included the traditional consecration of the church, but also the name day of the "Immaculate Conception of Mary", the namesake of the church. As Noen , the farmers' singing group and pastor Slavomir designed the Holy Mass on this solemn occasion. Pastor Slavomir expressed his gratitude for the performances of the singers and the organist, Andrea Krickl, who were recognized by the church visitors with great applause. A musical peculiarity is expected next Sunday when the alphorn players from Schwarzenbach an der Gölsen enrich the celebrations.
Another significant moment took place in the parish at Kaumberg, where on September 22, 2024 the inauguration of a new tabernacle came to a solemn realization. This was initially delayed by flood alarm and the resulting disaster position in Lower Austria, but ultimately the celebration could be made up with a festival fair under the direction of Pastor Slavomír Dlugoš, such as parish reported. The pastor told about the eventful history of the altar and the tabernacle, which is now housed in the Marienkapelle. The combination of stone and glass for the design of the new tabernacle was chosen to harmoniously integrate the materials of the church and symbolically map the community.
The inauguration was not only a moment of looking back at the history of the church, but also a contemporary connection of the community. The time and the circumstances of the previous work were a challenge, emphasized Pastor Slavomír, who thanked all the participants. With the vocals "Great God, we praise you" and the festive bells, the impressive celebration found a worthy conclusion. These renovations are part of the lively tradition of the parish, which reinterpret and strengthen the faith community and spiritual presence.
