The investigation and arrests

The further investigations that were carried out in cooperation with the State Criminal Police Office in Upper Austria and the city police command Linz were able to clarify a total of 41 criminal offenses, including nine thefts and 32 burglary theft. In this criminal group, eight Croatian citizens were active, whose age between 16 and 47 years of age varied. Four of the stolen e-bikes could be ensured in September 2024. Three main suspects who are currently in custody were arrested due to their participation in the gang, while the other suspicious members are reported at large, reports Volksblatt.at .
