Experience art: Open studios in the Brucker district on October 19 and 20

This coming weekend, more precisely on October 19 and 20, the 19th edition of the days of the open studios will take place in the Brucker district. This special event has set itself the task of promoting the art scene in Lower Austria and making it accessible to a wide audience. In different places in the district, the artists open their studio doors to exhibit their works and give insights into their creative creative process.

A total of 19 talented artists will be there on these days. They present their work in individual and group exhibitions that invite you to actively get in touch with the artists. Visitors have the opportunity to ask questions and even look over their shoulders when working. This promotes the exchange between artists and the audience.

special highlights

A novelty this year is the artist Helga Kusolitsch, who is known as "Schnipsel Queen". She will create paper collages in her wooden caban in the garden, while Susanne Kompast is working on impressive land art sculptures in the same garden. A special event will take place at 3 p.m.: a rattle performance that the sculptures should bring to life. In addition, all visitors are given the opportunity to collect fruit and print their own fruit sacker or to taste old apple varieties.

The variety of artists participating in the event is remarkable. Bernhard Böhm and Susanne Weber from Eberschassing, Florian Heumayer from Schwechat, Pia Holzinger from Petronell Carnuntum, Margit König from Mannersdorf and many are more. Other artists are Krischhart from Höflein, the art group Mannersdorf, Lapys from Wasenbruck, Karin Lebensbauer from Velm, Anneliese Lukowitsch from Mannersdorf, Nicole Montaperti from Maria-Lanzendorf, Ulrike Musil from Mannersdorf, Helga Petronella Peiritsch by Petronell-Carnuntum, Peter Sonnleitner from Bad Deutsch Altenburg, Ilse Storfer smith from Himberg, Jutta Wenth from Berg and Harald Winter from Hof am Leithaberge.

The days of open studios offer not only a platform for the artists, but also the opportunity for the public to experience art up close. Interested parties can observe the creative processes and step into dialogue with the artists, which deepens understanding of art and creativity. Another highlight is the family atmosphere, which is created by the small, individual studios and conveys a very special art experience.

For everyone who wants to experience the art scene in their variety, the days of open studios are an excellent opportunity to get inspiration and get to know the regional talents. The artistic work and the opportunity to participate make this event a cultural highlight in the Brucker district.
