Last Saturday, February 22, 2025, the celebrity Ski Race am Stuhleck took place for the 24th time, organized by Kurt Faist. With this spectacular charity event, in which numerous celebrities from art, sports and media took part, a considerable donation of 20,600 euros was collected for the Franz Klammer Foundation, which supports people who are in need through sport. The race attracted numerous athletes who fought for the best places. The men's victory went to Philipp Schörghofer, while Katrin Gutensohn triumphed with the women. Among the other winners were Hans Enn and the Slovenian ski technology legend Bojan Krizaj, who also performed excellently. When asked what the success of his race means for him, Franz Klammer replied: "I never completed a ski race at the Stuhleck in my active time - it was time! And now also for a good cause. Started for the first time and 20,600 euros for athleted athletes: Learn inside!" The collected funds are used specifically for funding projects of the foundation, including the support of a young athlete who was seriously injured, such as Leadersnet reported.

After the race, a solemn evening gala took place in the Casino Baden, where an auction took place. A day of skiing with Franz Klammer was a very special highlight. This event not only strengthens solidarity among the athletes, but also awareness of those in need of support in sport. Overall, the Franz Klammer Foundation emphasizes its significant role by supporting over 300 athletes in the past 25 years and taking a donation of around 3.5 million euros.
