St. Pölten, Österreich - On April 2, 2025, several important exhibitions were opened in Lower Austria that cover a wide range of contemporary art. The exhibition "Departments" in the exhibition bridge in the Lower Austria Landhaus in St. Pölten shows the works of Christine Nehammer-Markus and Catharina Vopava, which were largely created in Neulengbach. Another important exhibition is the special exhibition "Herrera & Dubuffet.! A Spark of Light in this World" in the Museum Gugging, which was also opened on April 2. Here over 80 works by the Uruguayan artist Magalí Herrera are presented, which was organized in cooperation with the Collection de l’Art brood. The topic of this show is the correspondence between Herrera and the famous artist Jean Dubuffet. On April 4, the Kunsthalle Krems opens a comprehensive monographic show by Susan Rothenberg (1945 - 2020), which includes 31 paintings and work on paper. Other interesting exhibitions on the same day are "Soul pictures" by Harald Ofner in the Melk Abbey and "Kunstwerk ... instead of" in the Baroque Schlössl Mistelbach.
As part of a country Art project under the direction of Ms. Valgode at the Witten vocational college, enthusiasm for nature is promoted. The aim is to convey people of all ages about intensive nature experiences and the design with natural materials. The students are encouraged to develop creative design ideas in nature and to capture the processes in the form of a photo documentation. There are topics such as "the way I go" and "make a place visible" in the focus that show the connection between art and nature. This innovative approach not only supports child development, but also the well -being of adults.
