Culture in Baden: Students present their thoughts on climate change!

A very special event has lifted the culture in Baden on a new level! On March 8, 2025, an inspiring family concert took place in the ballroom of the Federal Gymnasium Biondekgasse, which combined the voices of young talents with classical music. Under the direction of the great young conductor Guram Tsintsadze and with the talented violinist Karin Adam, the music lovers Baden presented a captivating performance with excerpts from Vivaldi's famous "four seasons" and Gounod's "Petite Symphony". This performance not only promised musical highlights, but also a unique opportunity for students to present their creative texts about climate change in a poetry slam. The students from different classes of the Biondekgasse grammar school had dealt intensively with the topic and captured their thoughts in moving short texts, which have now been part of this special concert, as Meinzirk.at reports.

Ernst Schebesta, former city council and Hofrat, was also awarded silver in a solemn framework. Cultural office manager Professor Gerd Ramacher paid tribute to Schebesta for his over 15 years of use in cultural life in Baden. The recognition underlines the importance of cultural initiatives and their supporters in the region. The event, which is not only intended for long -time concert goers, but also for newcomers, thus became a complex experience. The pupils from the 10th and 11th school level presented their impressive works and showed how literature and music can merge together, while the concert ran in a relaxed framework and gave the audience first access to classical music, as has been found by Noen.at.

The two concerts took place at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., with counting cards for 17 euros and 7 euros for children/adolescents. In the evening, a box office was open, where the prices were set at 19 euros for adults and 9 euros for children.
