Christmas magic at the town hall: art, culinary and culture from November 30, 2024

The pre -Christmas period is just around the corner and brings the annual Christmas magic with it in Hollenstein. On November 30th and December 1, 2024, the town hall forecourt shines in a festive shine. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., more than 20 exhibitors invite you to discover handicrafts, regional delicacies and other activities. Musical highlights are accompanied by the Musikverein Hollenstein and the Jagdhornbläsergruppe from St. Georgen/Reith, while the NÖ Eisenwurzen nature park and the Hollenstein farmers' association take care of the visitor.

Special attractions are offered on November 29, 2024. This includes a Christmas photo shoot with Doris Wimmer, for which prior registration is necessary. The scout group will also be represented with its Advent wreath sale. The Advent market weekend is supplemented by an exciting perch run by the Opponitzer Hammerteufln on November 30th at 6:00 p.m.

Accompanying the stands that are open throughout the weekend, students from the 4. Middle School present their homemade cribs. These can be seen between November 29 and December 1st. In addition, the Floral creative exhibition has opened all day, which offers a wonderful opportunity for the region to honor creativity and craftsmanship.

For children and adults, a Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese narrative theater, will be offered in the library on December 1st at 3:00 p.m. This is an excellent way for families to spend time together and to be carried away by captivating stories.

The weekend is flanked by other events that further promote the festive atmosphere in Hollenstein. On November 29, not only the Christmas lights are officially switched on, but also a light hike with the Hinterramskogler family. On the same days, on November 29th and 30th, the Advent market highlight will be held on the town hall forecourt, before the Nicholas Cheral Day follows with a cramp on 5:30 p.m.

The anticipation for the holidays is rounded off by numerous events, including the guided cripperlroas to the rock crib and the winter sun fire on December 21. On the night of the turn of the year, the old year tour on the gymnasium and the New Year's torchy run are traditionally on the program.
