In St. Peter/Au, the needy experienced a special Christmas surprise. The Team Austria Tafel, supported by the Raiffeisenkasse Haidershofen, distributed a proud 525 gift packages with vital food and hygiene articles to needy families this year. Every Saturday, more than two tons of food are delivered to the output points in St. Peter and Kematen by committed volunteers. The issuing offices are accessible to everyone with low household income, although discretion is always preserved. People who are in an emergency can seek help without any shame, which often makes the duty more bearable.
