People's Party Amstetten: Proud record and new challenges in the district!

Andreas Hanger, the district party chairman of the People's Party (ÖVP), draws a positive record of the municipal council election in the Amstetten district and emphasizes that the ÖVP has achieved impressive 56.74 percent of the vote in 34 communities. "This is a result that I am proud of," he said in a recently held press conference. Hanger emphasizes the importance of this supremacy, which goes hand in hand with great responsibility, and assures that the party will tackle this with humility. This success is also reflected in the structural list of the ÖVP in Amstetten, which Hanger described as "very good".

In the course of the press conference, Hanger also informed about the new municipal party bans in the district, including Markus Huber in St. Georgen/Ybbsfelde and Klaus Nagelhofer in Wallsee. The almost complete implementation of the community party days brought fresh faces and new impulses for the party. Another central concern that Hanger asked is the need for a more feminine policy. Of the 528 VP municipalities in the district, only 138 are female-a number that, according to Hanger, urgently needs to be improved. "Politics can become even more feminine," said his clear message.

challenges on the labor market

hanger also addressed the pressing problem of the shortage of labor in the Amstetten district. There are currently 1,840 registered unemployed, while only 1,438 vacancies are available. "We currently have full employment and de facto a shortage of workers," noted Hanger, and demanded special attention to long-term unemployed. In this context, he refers to Labor Minister Martin Kocher's planned reform dialogue to develop innovative solutions. A proposal that could be discussed would be the introduction of a degressive unemployment benefit, but you have to be careful that pressure on the unemployed does not have a counterproductive effect.

The developments in the People's Party and the challenges on the labor market are close to the fact that the party strives not only in the favor of voters, but also in the inner structure. Hanger stands for re -election as a district party chairman in October, after being nominated unanimously, and thus shows ambitious plans for the future of the district.
