In Amstetten there is a significant development in the area of electromobility: Stadtwerke Amstetten has announced the expansion of their charging infrastructure. Harald Stressler, the project manager at Stadtwerke Amstetten, emphasizes the results of a current survey carried out on behalf of E-Control. These results show that over 60 percent of e-mobilists prefer faster charging options, especially those with a charging power of more than 50 kW. The need for efficient charging infrastructure has therefore risen significantly, and the municipal utilities see themselves as responsibility to meet them.
