On Saturday, the newly designed shooting range of ESV Amstetten opened for the second round of the Lower Austria Landesliga in air rifle shooting. The competition season already shows signs of buoyancy and many shooters had the opportunity to prove themselves. Among the active people were the shooters of the Frankenfels association, which had to measure themselves with the strong shooters from the Leonhofen SPS.

The Frankenfels shooter Andreas Kraushofer, Erich and Martina Pfeffer gave their best, but clearly had to give up the opponents. Despite considerable individual services, the team only had eight individual points, which was not sufficient against the superior opponents from Leonhofen. Ultimately, they lost 8:16 after they narrowly missed the number of points in several series and only failed by two tenths.
